Songs of Innocence

Salam~

I really think I have to update my blog. So, today I present to you all a song called Songs of Innocence by Talib al-Habib. This song is essentially the doa that a father gives to his children as they lie asleep. It is also known as a lullaby.

He tells his child to lead a life of truth and follow the path of the Prophet, to put the thrust in Allah, and be strong in facing the obstacles in life. The length of this song is 5:57 which is quite long - same with Puteriku Sayang by Hijjaz ( another song that is full with advice).

To be frank, I dont really know what is the true meaning of the word 'Innocence' in this song, but it is clearly shown that the word 'Innocence' is the essence of this song. So, here is the song and I also paste its lyric here. Frankly, it is difficult for me to understand an English song without looking at the lyric ^^.
